Just as the sinner has nothing to say in defense before God, so the One made to be the sin of His people speaks no words of defense before His accusers.

To be our Sin-bearer, Christ must also be our Shame-bearer.

With eyes that are open and a mind that is clear, Jesus will accept the full wrath of God for the sins of His people.

God desires His people to come near.

His humiliation now complete, the Savior's glorification now begins.
